Jason is distracted from his police exams and Bud reaches the end of his rope while Arlene copes with unexpected news. On the other hand, Franklin charms Tara, and gets Jessica out of a jam, and Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette. Haunted by visions from his past, Bill makes a surprising pledge of allegiance.

CAROLINE COMPTON played by Shannon Lucio
A beautiful and courageous elegant woman. She pulls a gun on the intruder only to realize that it is her husband Bill who is suppoesed to have died in the war.
ALCIDE HERVEAUX played by Joe Manganiello
He appears like a decent man but is a sort of rough type with whom Sookie develops an attraction.
HOLLIS
40s, African American, this bouncer in a bar looks like he either was an NFL lineman or has just eaten one. A nice guy who knows Alcide well (though he’s suspicious of Alcide’s guest, Sookie), Hollis bursts in to help when Alcide is getting the crap beaten out of him, and then gives him some unexpected bad news about his fiancee.
DR. ROBIDEAUX
70s… this kindly, old-school gynecologist examines Arlene with an ultra-sound.
